Andy will also be part of the bill for an upcoming acoustic evening at London's IndigO2 in aid of the charity Mencap. 'Our Friends Acoustic' will feature a number of artists such as Jimmy Somerville, Nik Kershaw, Howard Jones, Carol Decker, China Crisis and Cutting Crew reworking their biggest hits acoustically. New Andy Bell Solo Material Revealed Date Posted: 13th February 2010 - Source: EIS This week saw the release of a brand new Andy Bell solo single, entitled Will You Be There?. Produced by Pascal Gabriel, this single have a dance floor feel to it and follows on from November's release of another single entitled Running Out. So why only now is this being publicised? Until this week, Andy had decided to release these singles under the pseudonym of MiMó, partly in honour of his friend Tomeau Mimó, but also to ensure his work was considered by radio stations without prejudice - and it worked. Both Running Out and Will You Be There? have enjoyed airtime on Radio One. Both singles are available from the usual retailers as download only releases. The Innocents 21st Anniversary Edition Out Today Date Posted: 26th October 2009 - Source: N/A Today sees the release of the 21st anniversary edition of The Innocents. The album is available in two formats - a single remastered CD of the album, or a special double CD & DVD edition which comes in a special hardback case. Collection Of New Releases Coming 2009 Date Posted: 11th July 2009 - Source: EIS Following in the footsteps of the recent Total Pop! release, Mute have recently announced a collection of new releases coming Summer/Autumn 2009. First up is the digital release of the Abba-esque remixes, that were previously released on LCD and L12" back in 1992. This digital bundle will be released on 10th August. Also out on this date on CD and via download is Erasure.Club, which collates a collection of remixes previously only available on vinyl. 12th October sees the release of the 21st anniversary edition of The Innocents album which will be available on remasted CD and via a deluxe double CD edition. Finally, on 26th October, to mark the reissuing of The Innocents, the popular track Phantom Bride will be releases as an EP on CD and via download. The EP will include brand new remixes from Almighty, Frankmusik, Dogmatix and Vince Clarke.
