Erasure backstage during The Violet Flame TourThe Violet Flame Tour kicked-off earlier this month in America and by all accounts is going down very well with concert goers. So much so that for the first time, an Erasure concert will be streamed live online for fans across the globe to tune in to. The concert in Boston at The House Of Blues will stream from 8pm (EST) on Saturday 27th September, brought to you by Live Nation and Yahoo!. It is one of 365 concerts to stream over a 12-month period on the Live Nation Channel on Yahoo! Screen and will be available to watch for 24 hours after the event.

Whether this concert will eventually be released on DVD and/or CD remains to be seen. We can but hope, right?

  1. That’s great news . It will be awsome knowing that Erasure fans from all over the world will be watching at the same time. What a buzz ! We are so in need of a live dvd , or should I say blu-Ray ! Even if we have to pre-order so that only enough go into production to meet demand , maybe a limited edition of 1500 or so !

  2. Please, guys, add some song from ‘I Say’ and ‘Erasure’ to the setlist! Like many fans, I’ve been anxiously waiting to hear gems like ‘Take Me Back’, ‘Blues Away’ and ‘All Through The Years’ played live at last.
